Stabilised maple, gold-plated brass and a planar tweeter: flagship materials at a friendlier price.
Named after the colours of autumn foliage, Koyo is a tri-brid universal IEM with one 10mm silk-diaphragm dynamic driver for the low end, three balanced armatures for the mids and highs, and a 6mm nano planar magnetic super tweeter for top-end extension. The dynamic and planar drivers sit in Jomo's AC2X asymmetrical co-axial chamber, 3D-printed in graphene-infused resin, which keeps bass and ultra-highs separated so the armatures can do their job cleanly.
The shell is stabilised maple hardwood, waxed rather than lacquered so the grain stays visible and develops a patina with use, framed in brushed stainless steel. A skeletonised, gold-plated brass FlowMax open-back grille lets the drivers breathe for a more open, less closed-in presentation.
