Infinitum is the flagship of Melodic Artification: a 100mm planar magnetic headphone built around a composite pure beryllium diaphragm, matched with its own dedicated portable amplifier and presented in a lockable wooden case.
At its heart is Melodic Artification's coaxial triple-drive planar design, created to remove the interference and phase misalignment that can occur between frequency bands. The result is seamless, high-resolution sound across the full range, with a vivid, three-dimensional soundstage.
Pure beryllium is exceptionally rigid yet light, so the diaphragm delivers fast transients and low distortion, with clean extension from deep sub-bass to airy treble. N52 magnets in a special-shaped array and a balanced internal wiring layout keep the presentation composed from the quietest passages to full-scale dynamics.
The housing pairs titanium alloy with aluminium alloy, and the ergonomic headband is designed for long, comfortable listening, whether in the studio or in your favourite chair.
