The QUE is proof you don't need a huge driver count to sound special. A single 10mm DLC (diamond-like carbon) dynamic driver handles the low end with a punchy, addictive slam. Three Knowles balanced armatures take care of a natural, slightly forward midrange and clean, extended treble. The overall effect is more speaker-like than most IEMs: open, coherent and easy to listen to for hours.
The name comes from the Chinese 阙 (QUE, palace), and the fish-bone logo nods to 鱼 (YU, fish). The aluminium shells wear a sandblasted, wave-textured faceplate.

Detailed and accurate as it was described! It does everything well enough to have it as a jack of all trades IEM. Maybe be a bit neutral to some ears but not boring or fatiguing. Overall great set for what it advertises!
What a great find! I wasn't expecting YU9 to be my "endgame" IEM, but I strongly believe it is. I have tried IEM in the $1000-$2600 and YU9 not only compete with them, but actually beat them. I haven't heard imaging and details at this price point that absolutely destroyed IEMs much higher priced than YU9.
These are incredibly fun! Shop owner was very kind when I inquired about the preorder timeline and provided a great experience.
