What a great find! I wasn't expecting YU9 to be my "endgame" IEM, but I strongly believe it is. I have tried IEM in the $1000-$2600 and YU9 not only compete with them, but actually beat them. I haven't heard imaging and details at this price point that absolutely destroyed IEMs much higher priced than YU9.
Top tier efficiency in terms of delivery, wish there could be more options for iems so I can shop again.

This iem is killer at that price and actually my favorite daily driver (and I own kilobuck iems).
The stage is impressive and goes to the back of my head, the sound is very engaging without feelling too forward and the treble is tamed in a way that it won't feel sibilant.

Lee tuned these like an absolute wizard and hats off to him. This set is fleet of foot with fast yet natural transients and impactful low-end that compliments the rest of the frequency response with a strong and punchy foundation. The star of the show here is going to be the slight mid forwardness Lee adds to his tuning with a slight and early pinna-rise, and *treble* which has a beautiful amount on the response right around where my over 40 year old hearing stops.
These tuning choices work perfect for my HRTF giving me sparkle unlike many other sets out there nowadays without it sounding overly boosted or sibilant. Thanks alot DMZ quality product from a quality shipping partner, thanks so much!
